"A discreet but brilliantly layered nose features a strikingly elegant mix of red and blue pinot fruit plus violet nuances trimmed in anise, cinnamon and clove where the spice elements can also be found on the supple, concentrated and again, beautifully textured flavors that possess the same sophisticated mouth feel as the Suchots, all wrapped in an explosively long finish. This is a wine of harmony and the sense of balance is so fine that this is one of those Zen wines, where everything is in perfect concordance."
